Pre & postnatal yoga
Hi!
I’m Chloe, a specialist women’s heath physiotherapist based in Gurnard, with a particular
interest in supporting women through pregnancy and postnatally. I believe women should
have the confidence to stay active in pregnancy and not be afraid to move postnatally,
which is why I trained in therapeutic pregnancy and postnatal yoga.
Postnatal yoga is designed to support your recovery after giving birth and the transition
into motherhood. My postnatal yoga classes offer a holistic approach to recovery and well-
being through supporting both physical and emotional health needs.
During the classes, we will practice breath work to help find calm in your mind, movement
and postures specific to strengthening your postnatal body, including pelvic floor and
diastasis recti and stretches to help ease aches and pains, to improve your overall
postnatal journey.
With my knowledge as a specialist women’s health physiotherapist, I will ensure that you
are doing the exercises correctly, offering modifications and props where needed, reducing
the risk of injury and enhancing your postnatal recovery. The class will finish with a lovely
relaxation followed by tea and an informal educational chat, with each week covering a
different theme. There will also be space and time for you to chat to the other mums to
connect and build your village of support.
Babies are welcome to join you in the class, the classes are designed specifically for your
body, with movement modifications if your baby needs a cuddle during the class!
